Christmas season is the time when we remember Lord Jesus' teachings or messages to mankind. We try to imbibe in us the qualities of a true Christian, we try to be more forgiving, more humane, more responsible for the sea of humanity that surround us.
But the Christian tenets must be learnt in childhood. There are hundreds of
Christian Christmas crafts that are taught to the children in school.
Some of the Christian Christmas crafts are
described here. They will make a wonderful activity for the children.
Clay Nativity
You will need 3 mini clay pots, 3 large wooden beads, straw or moss, golden ribbon string, strips of fabric and tacky glue. To make the Nativity, turn two pots upside down and glue a bead on top of each one (represents Mary and Joseph), place one of the fabric strips over Mary's head and other round Joseph's shoulder. Place straw in to the third pot (represents manger) and place the third bead into the straw (represents Jesus' head). Now place the gold ribbon around the head of Jesus like a crown.
Christmas Cookie Trees
To make this fascinating Christian Christmas craft, you will need a box of ice cream sugar cones, green frosting, white frosting, red frosting or small red candies. Now turn the sugar cones upside down and spread the green frosting over the outside of the cones. Apply the white frosting like a garland and place the red candies on the trees for the ornaments.
