Christmas is just the time when you should give hand made gift articles to your loved ones. Crochets are favorites with the ladies at home and they spend many a pleasant hour doing crochet works. Though there are several very well reputed shops where such crochet works can be bought, nothing can ever replace the feel of a handmade article.
So all of you out there take up your crochet hooks and go through the following Christmas crochet crafts.
Christmas Bells
You will need metallic silver or gold thread, crochet hook E, a jingle bell and ½ yard narrow red satin. The pattern is fairly simple and does not take much time. But the resultant bell is a feast for the eyes and apart from decorating the house, it can be given in gift to parents or grandparents.
Chicken Welcome
This crochet Christmas craft is slightly complicated and requires many hours of patient crochet knitting. To make this chicken welcome you will need red heart super saver 4 ply worsted weight yarn in white, Painted Desert, burgundy, honey gold and a scrap of black. You will also need a crochet hook, ¾" wooden letters to spell welcome, stiff plastic canvas, burgundy acrylic paint, 1"plastic ring for hanger, Aleene's Designer Tacky Glue, paint brush and tapestry needle. After making the chicken, use the tapestry needle and soft white yarn, sew 1" plastic ring to top back for hanging.
