Beaded Christmas Decorations |
Beaded Christmas Decorations refer to all those beaded ornaments that are used for decoration purpose at Christmas. Angels, garland, wreath, snowflake and the like can be all made through beading. These beaded ornaments form the core of Beaded Christmas decorations. These ornaments can be made following tough though commonly followed method.
Here are some examples:
- Beaded Christmas Wreath Ornament
Materials required:
- 26 gauge wire
- Green, Red or Silver lined 6/0 sized beads. Red and green beads will give a real wreath look.
Steps:
- String a large amount of beads onto the wire while still keeping the wire attached to its spool.
- The number of beads required depends on the size of wreath you want. For instance, for a wreath of diameter of 2 inches approximately 100 beads are required.
- Bend the wire around a bead, and then twist the bead into the wire chain nose pliers to form about a 1/2" long twist for each bead.
- Continue with this process until all of the beads are used.
- Once all the beads are strung, snip the wire a few inches from the last bead.
- Wrap the bead chain and the individual bead twists to the wreath form all the way around
- Attach the jump ring with the untwisted end of the wire.
- Tie a ribbon to the jump ring loop at the top to finish.
- Beaded Christmas tree ornament
