The Love Bug
This is a simple activity. All you need is a discarded china cup and a small tennis ball. Take a discarded piece of newspaper. Paint it deep red with water colors. Let it dry. Cover the china cup with the painted paper. Try and glue the paper uniformly so the paper looks like the cup’s second skin. Take a brush and make little black polka dots all over the cup. On the other cover the tennis ball with a newspaper painted in jet black water color. Make eyes and use painted toothpicks to make the bugs head and antenna. Place the ball on the cup – your valentine love bug is ready!
