Savage Garden, eine australische Musikband, ist am besten bekannt für das Album "Truly, Madly, Completely". Die Mitglieder der Popband waren Darren Hayes und Daniel Jones. Ihre Alben verkauften sich in Australien, Großbritannien, Asien und in die USA immer sehr gut. Ihre Lieder belegten wochenlang die Spitze der Charts.
Die Band "Savage Garden" hat auch eine der Coverversionen von dem Lied "Last Christmas" gemacht. Die Originalversion von ‚Last Christmas' wurde von der britischen Popband "Wham" gespielt. Die von Savage Garden herausgebrachte Version des Liedes "Last Christmas" ist ja eine Coverversion, denn das Original "Last Christmas" von Wham ist eindeutig zu identifizieren. Jedoch hatten Darren Hayes und Daniel Jones mit dem extra besonderen Chor und mit der wirkungsvollen Zwischenmusik dem Lied eine innovative Note gegeben.
