When we talk of Christmas Yard Art, we essentially refer to the art pieces that we use to adorn our backyard or courtyard and in some cases the lawn and the garden.
In this perspective, the usual picture that flashes through our minds is that of the nativity scenes and the innumerable types of décor that form a part of the Christmas decoration ranging from the lights to the chandeliers to the showers and Christmas tree trims.
Nativity scenes are a part and parcel of our yard decor and depending on the size of the nativity figurines we are required to decide where we would like to place them.
If they are human sized figurines, constructing them at home might prove to be a little difficult. But with a little supervision and patience, it can easily be attempted upon. If you are settling for relatively small sized figurines, making them at home could be relatively easier and in these cases clay or cloth figurines are ones that are most attempted upon.
If you are not too confident about constructing the figurines, there are lots of other works to be done. Arranging the backdrop for the nativity scenes is no less time consuming, thus start early so that you have ample time in your hand to implement all the creative bits you have in mind. Another important aspect of yard art is the lights and the associated decor. If you are decorating your yard with candles, you can try your hand at making some at home. You can also try making the holiday wraps for the electric bulbs with pictures of Santa and the whole of the Christmas gang on them and last but not the least, you could make similar items and pass them off as showers during the festive season.
