If you are planning to go Christmas shopping in Ireland you will probably experience an enlivening experience. The land of the fairy tale has it all.
Picture perfect breathtaking landscapes dotted with ghostly Castles, medieval towers flaunting Georgian architecture, posh castle turned hotels, picturesque sea cliffs, beaches,
harbors lined along the Causeway Coast, the towering Cliffs of Moher and the scent of the wild flowers are to name a few of the wonders that adorn the so very pretty Ireland. However its not very wise to shop for the festive showers in the chilly winter months as the climate in Ireland during this time of the year is quite inhospitable and one is likely to get stranded as many of the hotels and pubs close down around October and don't reopen until Easter. If you are really keen on visiting the Christmas stores in Ireland, opt for the months of July or August when lively festivals, longer days and reasonably warm weather would induce you to go out on shopping sprees. Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway and Limerick are the shopping hotspots in Ireland.
The beautifully illuminated and Christmas tree lined Grafton Street, St. Stephen's Green, Jervis Street and Henry Street in the Dublin City Center are ideal for looking for showers. If out of town shopping is more suited to your needs then head for the Blanchardstown Shopping Center (just off the N3), where you'll find every possible Christmas present under the one roof.
Other quality shopping centers are Liffey Valley Shopping Center, Dundrum Town Center offering you the very best under one roof, but if you are searching for down town shops, the Blanchards town Shopping Center is a good bargain.
Castlecourt Shopping Center lining the Royal Avenue, Sprucefield Shopping Center in the Northern city of Belfast, Douglas Court Shopping Center and Mahon Point Shopping Center flaunting branded shops in the southern capital of Cork, not to forget the shop-filled Patrick Street and Oliver Plunkett Street are ideal for Christmas souvenir searching.
Eyre Square region of Galway's city center, Shop Street in Galway and the one of a kind departmental stores and boutiques of O'Connell Street and Crescent Shopping Center in the Dooradoyle area of Limerick are reasonable bets too.
