Christmas light Sculptures are lights mounted on frames of metal or plastic. The tradition of Christmas light Sculptures began with lighting streets, poles and lampposts by C7 bulbs. The smaller miniature light sculptures were used in homes.
Public displays mostly use large light sculptures. They come with a plastic sheet backing and exquisite designs. More recent forms of sculpture lights appear on holographic laser backing with quality graphics. They are still the main form of public displays in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in Tennessee.
