She sent it out in a belated Christmas card to friends and relatives that year. They also sent it on to other friends and relatives, thus the poem and the story behind it have been changed.
Text
I SEE THE COUNTLESS CHRISTMAS TREES,
AROUND THE WORLD BELOW.
WITH TINY LIGHTS, LIKE HEAVEN'S STARS
REFLECTING ON THE SNOW.
THE LIGHT IS SO SPECTACULAR,
PLEASE WIPE AWAY THAT TEAR.
FOR I AM SPENDING CHRISTMAS
WITH JESUS CHRIST THIS YEAR.

Spending Christmas with Jesus is a fun affair as it rings a bell of the heavenly charm the very thought of it brings. The dazzling light of heaven lights up our otherwise morose lives. The choir of the divine orchestra is the sound of god's music. The sheer splendor of the ceremony, coupled with the earnestness of the prayers, illumines the spirit of the of the souls on earth awaiting His benevolence.
