Easter is no fun without Easter eggs. Decorating them and playing games with them are age old traditional customs which are equally enjoyed by children and adults. Nowadays you will find various online games based on Easter eggs. With a little bit of imagination you can even invent new Easter egg games. Have fun with your friends and family with these great Easter egg games.
- Easter egg spoon race – Put start and finish line markers to begin the race. Every player should hold a large spoon or soup spoon in his/ her with a small decorated(link to Easter Egg Decorating) Easter egg in it. The first person to reach the finishing line is the winner. You can make this race a relay race or an obstacle race. It would be even more fun if the participants hold the spoons in their mouth during the race.
- Hunting out the Easter egg – Easter egg hunt(link to Easter Egg Hunt) is a very popular traditional Easter game(link to Easter Games). The story goes that the eggs are hidden by the Easter bunny(link to Easter Egg Bunnies). There is no proper explanation as to why it does so. The Easter eggs are hidden by someone in various locations all over the house. Those who participate in this game have to find out all the eggs. Until then the game continues. If you are responsible for hiding the Easter eggs for this game then do not forget the places where you have hidden the Easter eggs, especially if the eggs are real.
- Rolling the Easter egg – This game also requires start and finish lines. The Easter eggs have to be pushed or rolled from one line to another by the participants using a spoon or some other similar object. No one should touch his/ her Easter egg with their hands. If the Easter egg breaks during the game then the owner of the egg goes out of the game. The Easter eggs can even be rolled downhill to increase the difficulty level.
- Egg bowling game – To play this game, participants should stand in a circle putting an Easter egg at its center. Every participant should have one egg with them which they will roll towards the centrally placed egg. If the participant's egg breaks in this process or touches the central egg then the person will be out of the game.
