Cream Cheese Christmas Cookies – Very easy to prepare these Christmas day cookies are soft tongue-watering goodies. Mix cream cheese, butter and flour in a bowl. Chill dough in refrigerator. Roll out and cut with a 2-inch round cookie cutter. Place cookies on cookie sheet and bake at 400° for 12 minutes.
Candy Cane Cookies – Candy cane cookies are traditional Christmas day cookies and perfect for holiday giving. Into a mixing bowl, measure flour, butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla, salt and egg. Beat with hand-held electric mixer at low speed until mixture is well blended. Take 1 teaspoonful of plain dough and roll into a 4-inch rope. Move cookie to baking sheets with a spatula. Bake cookies until lightly browned around edges. Let it cool. Store in tightly covered container for up to 1 week.
Christmas Wreath Cookies – Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Then add marshmallows and stir until they melt. Remove from stove and add corn flakes. Make into round wreath shapes on wax paper.
Snow Ball Butter Cookies – Cream butter and 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar until light. Add salt, vanilla, flour and chopped pecans; mix well. Chill dough for 2 hours. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
