The Christmas night dazzles with bright array of lights. The rainbow colors and the numerous designs of the lights cast a mystical glow that is really magnificent. People from all over the world hang on the city parks, churches, restaurants and shopping complexes to envision the wonderful Christmas light displays.
There are a handful of Christmas light displays site. Some well known ones include:
A Broadway Christmas (homepage.ntlworld.com)
Planet Christmas (planetchristmas.com)
The Christmas House (thechristmashouse.co.uk)
The Murray's Christmas Wonderland (geocites.com)
These sites offer spectacular displays since 1990s. With computer control being introduced the displays get bigger and brighter every year. C7 and C9 lights, mini Christmas lights, rope lights with steady or chasing ropes, net lights, icicle lights, spotlights and LED Christmas lights are commonly used in Christmas light displays.
The Baloba Island of California was illuminated with over 24,000 lights from the house of Planet Christmas in 2005. There were 20 rope light animated figures like a waving snow man, a flying helicopter, a jumping gingerbread man, a drummer boy drumming, a chugging train and a dancing hula girl. A thirty-foot tall hand-made lighted Christmas tree blinked as Christmas music played in the background. A real highlight was the fake snow machine that produced instant snow on demand.
