The adorable Christmas stitch patterns are bound to be a delightful addition to your decorating with Christmas Carnivals bringing helpful information on Welcome Friends and Flakes.
The Snowflakes 5 Cents requires Ceram coat by delta paints, light ivory, black cherry, Prussian blue, terra cotta, black, chambray blue and wild rose, and spice brown and Sonoma wine for the color contrasts.
Coat the body, arms and snowflake in light ivory. Do the mittens in black cherry, the sign in Prussian blue, the nose in Terra Cotta and the coal buttons in black. After completing each, sand the portion when dry. Wipe with tack cloth.
Float on the edges of the body, arms and snowflake with Chambray Blue. Stipple the cheeks with wild rose. Make black dots for eyes and mouth. You can use the round end of your paint brush or use a liner brush. Float on the bottom of the nose with spice brown.
Stipple the cuff of the mitten with Sonoma wine, black cherry and light ivory. Make the lines on the mittens for the snowflakes. Dot the snowflake with light ivory. Drill holes. Attach wire hanger to the sign. Attach the sign to the head. Splatter paint with black and light ivory. Glue and tie on ribbons and scarves and there's your Flakes man.
