Rockefeller Center refers to the complex of buildings and plazas between 47th and 50th Streets and 5th and 7th Avenues in the New York City.
The Christmas tree that beautifies Rockefeller Center is usually a Norway Spruce. The tree at the center is generally 65 feet tall and 35 feet wide.
However, the tree height is desirably between 75 and 90 feet. But, the Norway Spruce does not reach this fraction. Therefore, there is an offer of donating a Christmas tree that fits to the desired proportion, to be put at the Rockefeller center. People feel so proud in having donated their tree for the Rockefeller center that they hardly think of the compensation.
