It’s the party time because it’s Christmas! Caroling is going on and you are busy with preparing the dance floor. Singers have already taken their center stage position and dancers are rehearsing for the last time.
Amidst all these fun filled activities, what if your Christmas tree begins to sing? Have you ever wondered how this can be possible? Well, this has been made possible long back in 1972, when Millard Heath built the first Singing Christmas Tree for the First Baptist Church Denton, Texas, by shaping his coir into living Christmas tree singing carols.
Singing Christmas Tree is a rich tradition, enjoyed by more than a thousand people each year. There are many coir groups across the world and in Churches that carry this tradition every year. They also demonstrate the birth of Jesus and other famous Christmas stories as well while singing.
