Santa Claus as we know him today first emerged when the Dutch settlers came to Manhattan on Christmas day 1624. In Holland, Sinterklaas (Santa Claus) wore a red robe while riding a white horse, and cared a bag of gifts to fill the children's stockings. Christmas Carnivals is here with Santa Claus video.
Santa Claus was made in 1985 starring Dudley Moore and John Lithgow. It was the penultimate major feature, and last major film based on the fantasia plot. It was produced by the Paris-based father-and-son production team of Alexander and Salkind. Released in North America on Nov 27, 1985 by Tri Star Pictures.
Santa Claus is the mythical figure who delivers toys to children around the world on Christmas Eve. According to legend Santa lives at the North Pole, oversees a toy workshop run by busy elves, and flies around the world in a sled pulled by eight reindeer: Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, Dancer, Dasher, Donder, Prancer, and Vixen. (A ninth reindeer with a shiny nose, Rudolph, was introduced in Gene Autry's 1949 country music hit "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.") The name Santa Claus was derived from Sinterklaas, the Dutch term for the ancient Christian figure of Saint Nicholas. He is similarly depicted in the videos.
The arrival of Santa on Christmas Eve has become the most anticipated event of the Christmas holiday season. He is recognized around the world as symbolizes love, caring, and gift giving through out the Christmas season. Jolly in the spirit of the season with Christmas Carnivals Santa Claus video.
