Christmas Eve for Sisters is full of excitement, festivity and wonder. Sisters enjoy a lot amidst the light, color and music of the Christmas Eve night. They plan for great parties, prepare gifts, bake cookies and help mummies to clean the house on the days prior to Christmas Eve. They also do lots of shopping before the Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve for Sisters is spent mostly by decorating indoors and outdoors with beautiful crafts and lights. The Christmas tree is set up and lighted beautifully with candy canes, tree topper angels, reindeers and the traditional Nativity scene.
Christmas Eve for sisters is the ideal time for preparing gifts for the loved ones. This brings out the creative quality of the sisters and adds a personal touch and heartfelt warmth on the gifts and their receivers. Homemade trinket boxes, candleholders, gift baskets and Christmas cards are some gift items made by the sisters on Christmas Eve.
On the night of Christmas sisters visit the church to appear for the midnight mass. Some of them also participate on the various special carol services offered by the church during this time. In such services they have to sing Christmas carols and enact the Nativity Scene.
They return home in a jubilant mood and throw out a great dinner party with friends and families. They make great fun and merry-making while hosting various party games. Some popular party games organized by the sisters on Christmas Eve are blindfold gift-wrap, clumsy fingers and more so. Then they host a grand dinner containing traditional food items. Rolls, ham, turkey and baked potatoes are common food items cooked by the sisters on Christmas Eve.
