Santa Travels On Christmas Eve |
Santa Claus is famous throughout the world among children. He delivers the Christmas gifts to the children on Christmas Eve or in early December as in Netherlands, and Santa's travels on Christmas Eve are eagerly awaited by the children. Santa Claus has his home in the North Pole. There he is busy throughout the year.
But before Christmas, he arrives in a sleigh pulled by his red nosed reindeer, Rudolph.
But this does not mean that Santa's travels on Christmas Eve are without any occupational hazards. Santa Claus does have some problems with his drunken reindeer, heavy snowing and blizzards. But still millions of children get the gifts from him around the world. But he has the support of a handful of diligent elves. The concept of Santa's travels on Christmas Eve is quite old. Santa Claus is an endearing old man dressed in red coat with white borders, red hat and a large flowing snowy white beard. But this character is not only a legend, in fact he is based on a legendary figure, St. Nicholas.
Santa Claus has to go far and wide in order to deliver the presents. He reprimands the naughty children while giving candies and nuts and sweets to the good ones. He travels from one house to another in his reindeer pulled sleigh and reaches each house when the children are asleep. The stockings are placed by the children besides their beds and so, all Santa has to do, is to slip the presents in the stockings. He travels fast because with day break he will not be able to give the presents. Connect to Christmas Carnivals for more information on Santa's travels on Christmas Eve.
