Christmas Kids History

Christmas is a festival, which is welcomed by adults and children alike. Children especially wait eagerly for the arrival of this festival. Christmas kids history is related primarily to the two customs of Christmas One of the customs is the singing of carols, as the word carol derives its name from a little girl whose name was Carol.

The story goes that Carol, the girl got lost on a winter night, so her friends went from door to door looking for her much like the people who went to every house singing the songs of Christmas. As a result of this, the phrase Christmas songs is used instead of Christmas Carols, which means a joyful song sung to celebrate the birth of Christ. The other tradition is that of the Poinsetta which is used for Christmas decorations. It is said, that a child wanted to give a gift to Jesus but had no money. So the child plucked a poinsetta from the side of a road and decided to give it to Jesus, and as soon as the child entered the church, from the poinsetta grew beautiful flowers. From then onwards the poinsetta has become an important part of the Christmas celebrations.

Santa Claus has a special place in the hearts of children as they eagerly wait for the gifts that are distributed among the children of the world by Santa Claus. The children keep empty shoes or empty containers and some of them even goes to the extent of hanging a stocking from the ceiling of the house, so that it gets filled up with gifts brought by Santa Claus.
